The Story
Killer Queen is a rare cabinet arcade game that emphasizes teamwork. During its early stages, Columbus was invited to a national tournament and needed a hype video for their team as part of the tournament promotions.
The Process
We highlighted the team’s underdog story and used high-quality video production to help them stand out from the rest of the teams. Interview questions were crafted for the players and b-roll was taken of the team practicing on their home machine to portray their hardworking and determined personalities. We added motion graphics and edited it all together in to a 3-minute video.
Results
Although the team did not win their tournament, they were hailed as the team with the best video of all the Killer Queen teams from around the nation.
